Vazda Khan
Dr. Vazda Khan, born in 1969 in Sidharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, is a multifaceted artist, poet, and writer. She holds a BA and MA in Painting from Allahabad University and a D.Phil. in Painting. In 2004-05, she was awarded a Fellowship from the Lalit Kala Academy by the Ministry of Culture, and in 2010, she received the Hemant Smriti Kavita Samman for her poetry, featured in leading Hindi magazines and published by Bhartiya Jnanpith in Delhi.
With seven solo exhibitions and participation in over 35 group shows worldwide, Dr. Khan’s work spans cubism, abstract art, and the traditional Kishangarh style. She has earned five prestigious awards, including the Rashmirashthi Puraskar (2016), and continues to inspire with her innovative approach to both art and literature.
